Easter chick
« on: April 18, 2011, 07:11 »
New chick in time for Easter! She kept it quiet, only new one had hatched when they came outside, very happy to get one out of her first sitting as they weren't her eggs.  Se has little black tips on the edges of her wings, does this mean she will be a light sussex?  She came from a mixed batch so not sure what I have got and I keep referring to her as she in the hope that she will be..... ::)

How lovely, Newbie.   :)
This is 17 days on her eggs for my broody (and counting).  I can't wait to see if she hatches any.  Hope yours turns out to be a girl.
