Hello, I got some ducklings about 3 days old, two days ago.  They all seemed clean and bright eyed but today one is looking a bit off.  Not so energetic as the others, sitting down more and just not right.  We have encouraged it to drink and eat from a spoon so it doesn't have to push in with the other (six in total).  They are in a brooder under heat.  Does anybody have any tips for giving it a boost - any tonic etc?  Thanks.

Have you tried Rescue Remedy? I put a little of my chick that wasn't doing so well, he/she is better now and i don't know if the rescue remedy helped with that or not but i know it has seemed to help when Ive used it on my cat.

Just a thought anyway  Ill keep my fingers crossed for your duckling

Thanks - my daughter made sure she was fed and watered every few hours, I put some tonic in the drinking water, lay awake a lot fretting and it seems to have done the trick. Phew.  Will keep an eye on her but fingers crossed all is well .
