Runner and French Beans not staright.
« on: August 25, 2007, 19:42 »
Hi this is my first year of growing and I didn't get my plot until late May.
Around mid June I sowed some Runner and French Beans, they are now producing pods. But the pods on both are growing bent, more like a banana.
The pictures of the pods on the seed packets display the pods as straight, what is causing my bean pods to bend it like Beckham.
Thanks.

For showing some people tie little weights on the end of their beans to make them grow straight. For eating it just doe's not matter.Just pick em young and never let any of them grow too big or that plant will stop producing runner beans altogether.
