How to tame my ex-bat girls

Please could you give me some advise on taming my three ex bat girls?  We have had them since September last year, and although they appear considerably better in appearance, all three are very pecky towards us.

I have read like most pets you have to frequently handle them or sit in with them so they get used to you, however our hen house/run is not large enough to allow me to get in side. 

I would much prefer to let them out into the garden, however we have foxes that visit at all hours and I'm afraid my girls will be taken, as the foxes are so brazen, they don't seem to be afraid of my partner and I.

Any advise welcome.

I've 5 ex bats - we handled them as soon as they arrived.  Get them to associate you with yummy food - feed them the odd meal worm from your hand, and give them a good old fuss when you pick them up to check them over each day.  As the evenings are longer, go out in the garden with them, get them used to you, and remember, bribery gets you everywhere!
