Rusty Leeks - no pun intended
« on: August 08, 2006, 22:00 »
I had to dig up all my garlic at the weekend because they went rusty.  But this evening to my horror, my showing leeks were showing signs of rust as well.  What can I do!? The show is only four weeks away now, it could not have happened at a worse time - they are a real banker for a prize..

It's pretty tricky for the show grower as so much has failed to renew licence under the EU regs. Dithane would be my bet but it's not approved for leeks -
