Has she had enough ?

Hello All

Do you think my little Poo has had enough of her chicks ?? They are just over 4 week old but feathering up well (Maran chicks which are 2 girls and 1 Boy WHO IS MASSIVE)

She wanders off with the other hens when i let her out and only returns to the chicks every so often and laid 2 eggs this week !! she still is put away with the chicks at night in a seperate coop but i have seen her on the perch rather than on the chicks

I just thought they needed another week or two

Any Ideas Gang ?

do you let the chicks out with her? I always do and by that age they are often wandering off in their little group and only go back to her when they feel the cold or for protection. When the time is right she will go back to her original coop and they will follow her
