ill hen?

ill hen?

my maran hen kiwi, has just turned ill? She was fine yesterday, and this morning she's so quiet and not eating any scraps or eaten anything this morning apart from a tiny bit of layers mash. I was just holding her and some liquid came out of her bum.. does anyone know if she will get better or if there is anything i can do?

You've not given much info so there's not much to go on. Any more information, eg what has she been eating?

Have you checked out the poo gallery on here to check if her poo matches any, as their poo will be indicative of what might be ailing her

How's she doing now? What colour was the liquid and texture?

If in doubt and you are waiting for a reply on here call the vet for some help, sorry I cant ,but its better to waste a vets time and usually they are pretty good at giving an idea over the phone.
