how do i know if my cucumbers are ready?

i'm sure this has been asked before but i did a search and cant find it. i have a couple in the greenhouse that are about 8 inches long and about 2 inches round.

pick em now before the ends turn yellow . then add a bit more water to them .. what type are they , i pick mine when they are no longer than 10 inches and no seeds form

i think they are masterpiece, i have some in the greenhouse and some on the plot, i have picked one from the plot this morning and it is a lot thicker, slightly yellowy though and bumpy whereas the greenhouse one are smooth. i will cut into it later to see what its like

should be loverly

if its a bit over done .pickle it with apple vinegar .just slice it thin and pop it in the mix of mustard and chervil.teaspoon of each in a pint jar
