Weldmesh is heavy!

Especially when it comes in 25m rolls  ::)

So I now have my weldmesh, and 60x2m battens, 16 metaposts and too many wire tensioners.  All I need now are my fence posts and I'm just about set to make a chicken fortress :)

So are you going to post photos for all of those who want to know about making runs? I don't have any runs so cant do this but I'm sure the photos would help quite a few.
What gauge weldmesh did you buy and also the size of the holes?
Staffies are softer than you think.

I can do pics I suppose  :tongue2:  though the runs won't be covered or anything ;)

The weldmesh is standard aviary mesh (I don't know what weight), and the hols are 1cm x 1cm

We don't use wire tensioners and fence posts with our run panels Casey, easier to dismantle and move around!

Tied together with cheap cable ties.

But you don't know my master plan Ann  :tongue2:

I'm going to have three permanent pens (which is where the fence posts and wire tensioners come in) and then also make temporary/movable pens for the growers  :D

It'll all make sense when I post the final pics - I hope, lol!
