i need some advise from some good ploughman i have been ploughing my lottie using a ransoms 3 furrow semi-digger plough with my David Brown 990 i'me getting the plough dig its self in the ground pitching into the ground with the back furrow only ploughing about 5 inches deep i have lifted the plough up on the lift arm fully tried altering the top link as those that know the top link on a David Brown is on a sort of depth control in other words tried every thing possible as i know has anyone got any advise how to overcome this problem :mad:

Sounds  like the top link needs lengthening to push the rear down or one lift arm needs winding up but I guess you have tried that.Is there  excessive wear in the linkages that counters the longer top link,ie the point of the leading shear digs in and the back cocks up compressing the wear,if you get my drift?

the arms of the 3 point hitch need leveling, Use the adjuster at the top of the link arm.Or roll the offset on  the plough.
always have a target
and an objective.
