MANTIS FURROWER ATTACHMENT
« on: August 18, 2007, 11:05 »
I have just bought a used mantis tiller from Ebay - I havent even tried it yet, it's still in pieces in the box!!!!

But I was wondering if anyone has tried the furrower attachment for planting spuds as I was considering having it as a present for my birthday but its a lotta wedge (£50).
Avoid fruit and nuts.  You are what you eat.

That is a rotovator and a half.  My son is NUTS about tractors and machinery - he would love Mum to have one like that!  (He's 2 and we live in rural ireland so hes bloomin farm machinery mad)  Unlike most people, he loves it when were stuck behind a tractor and just sits there waving with a grin from ear to ear!

I picked the mantis because I am planning on converting the rest of my plot into raised beds as I love the ones I made earlier in the year.  The mantis is so light, it can be manoevered easily into the beds.  Yours frankie would eat my beds for breakfast and probably make a fine tilth from my boards!

ANYHOW.......anyone tried the furrower.....
