There have been several threads about this recently :)  If you do a search on "feed" or "feed price" I'm sure you will find a couple.

I'm in France, so nopt really comparable, but at the garden centre 25kg of layers is 21€ (about £18) and at the feed mill it is 12€ (about £10 for 25kg)

That's not at SAPS is it Compie?  Someone told me only a few weeks back that SAPS were selling layers pellets at around £6.50, which is good.

There's someone down the A52 to us started doing animal feed and I was told he charges £8.50 for a 20k bag.  But we buy ours wholesale, so don't pay that much, although it has gone up £1 a bag since Christmas.

Farmway is round the corner from us so we use their brand @  £8.99 for 25kg

Oh Rookes, Can't say I was very impressed with them when we looked in there once.  I've never heard of the trading shed in Gosberton, whereabouts are they?  Not that we need to buy from them, as we get our Bearts direct from Bearts and delivered free!  But sometimes people ask us where they can buy feed at a reasonable price!

If I bought my feed in 50kg bags at the feedmill it would be cheaper... except I can't lift a 50kg feed bag!

found out by experience, and one which I never have to repeat again lol!
