Update: I moved the girls onto the perch at dusk each night this week. By thursday Gretal was taking herself onto her perch at night and hansel was roosting on the ledge next to and slightly below her - but neither of the girls are going into the next box so i'd say thats a successful outcome!!

Don't count your chx just yet it might take  a little more training and a few relapses yet.
