Good seed catalogues, or websites.
« on: March 19, 2011, 08:51 »
Hi All,

Could anyone advise on some good websites or companies that have a good seed catalogue please? I am just starting out with a new allotment from April 1st so would like to start getting in some seeds etc.

Many thanks.

http://www.realseeds.co.uk/

Real seeds that aren't hybrids so there's no need to buy seeds every year.

Good service and great value for money too.

You'll be unaware of this survey, Cindy, it's worth a look & will save a lot of repeat posts:

Most have websites, just Google the companies that interest you.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I ordered from these people, http://www.vegetableseeds.net/ and they were very good. Have a look. The seeds are cheap and the postage is free. They even threw in two packets of seed free. I`ll be going back!
I can remember when it were all fields round `ere.

Hello cindyfurse
I read two possible elements to your question

One is the obvious
" Where is a good place to buy seeds"

The other is
"Whose catalogue is good for information contained within it"

I'll go with the catalogue element
DT Browns catalogue contains wide selections and good information, as does Kings Seeds
Unless otherwise stated it can be assumed ALL posts are by Pa Snip
