Did anybody actually plant their spuds today?

'Twas too cold for me, so I didn't think the spuds would like it either ( a good excuse, if ever I heard one )
It's supposed to be a bit warmer at the weekend, so they may get planted then

I planted my earlies today and I will plant my mid and mains tomorrow.

i planted mine this day last year and got hit by that late frost -6   and they were covered and still the frost burnt them this year i will plant a week sunday the  27th i think

Only thing I did with spuds today was experiment with two 'Swift' earlies in shock horror potato tubs.

Spend too much time in previous years trying to keep them alive during frosts. I have 6 large tubs / bags in the conservatory for the really early New Potatoes ... the rest can be less rushed.

Everyone here tells me we dont have frosts after 15 March, so anytime after then is OK to plant tatties - well, anytime the lunar calendar says is a 'root planting day', that is.  Have to follow the moon for planting schedules around these parts.
