Thanks Trillium.... it did better than the tomatoes in the photo. Blght! 
It was my last year for outside tomatoes... I gave up.

The rose was huge - for cut flowers as I crept home late 

I use 'starter pack/travel pack' contact lens solution bottles.

to modify an old ad,  you'll wonder where the yellow went when you top your canes with steradent

Steradent obviously stole borrowed that quote from Pepsodent toothpowder from the 1940's.

Nooooooooooo, thats why I said " to modify an old ad".
Pepsodent were using it well into the 60's,  maybe even later.

sherbert fountains now come in plastic tubes so i have been saving those but i also use the lids from bottles of lenor fabric softener
