i have my hatched chicks on chick crumb at the mo. can you please tell me at what age do i introduce other foods ie. veg, mash, pellets, to their diets
also when do they have to be wormed.

Chicks can stay on chick crumbs until about 8 weeks when you can transition them to growers.  They can stay on growers until they have laid their first egg when they can be transitioned to layers (or if you already have laying hens, you can gransition from growers to layers at about 18 - 20 weeks).

I don't give my chicks anything other than crumbs until they go outside at about 6 - 8 weeks (then again I don't give any of my hens kitchen scraps at all), when I also start providing chick grit.

I don't worm until 6 months (or as close to, when I worm everyone else).
