Badger Problem

Hi everyone, sorry for not being on for so long but been away with work. Anyway, whilst away an eye witness told me that a badger got into my chooks and dragged one off and eat it on his back lawn. Does anyone have any top ideas how to deter badgers, i've tried peeing around the house and run but so far it's rained everyday and I'm guessing it's being washed away. I've looked into the anti-badger wire but it is far too expensive for only four chooks.

get chain link fencing and bury it down to 18 inches  and nail it to the sides and door frame bottom edge ., the badger is a protected species and will entail a hefty prison term for any ..... any interference  you do to it . this means chasing it off as well . peeing will not work thats and old countrymans tail ....  creosote will

Electric fencing is by far the most effective, cheapest and it is quite legal to use it. See this link..

Creosote isn't natural, makes a mess, can't be cleaned up whilst EF (not natural yes) may be easily removed when the problem no longer exists.
