Help needed: Pruning Citrus Trees
« on: March 13, 2011, 17:39 »
Hey all,

I've got these 3 citrus trees (orange, lemon, lime) (from garden bargains) and I was wondering if I need to prune them??? and more importantly, where to prune them if i need to???

I've had a look on the net, but cant seem to find any info on pruning these sized trees.

The Navelina Orange and the Eureka Lemon I got last year. I brough both into the house over the winter and they both flowered, but then dropped all their flowers. The lemon now has two flowers back on it.

The Bears Lime I got this year (about a week ago).

I replanted all trees into Ericaceous soil when i got each of them.

Lemon Tree:

Lime Tree:

The only info I can find is on the RHS website
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
