Bamboo Orchid

I bought one of these yesterday, which is in a pot.  Its in the kitchen today and the scent is fantastic.   It does not have the daffodil shape flowers, but little tiny mauve ones.

I googled it today, but it only gives info for growing outdoors.  So two questions:-

1.  Can anybody tell me how do grow it as an indoor plant.

                                         and

2.  Has anyone grown any of these outdoors in this country.
