Any tips on where I should site a few raspberry plants. I think the best place I have is along a short east facing wall. There hasn't been any veg there previously and has had plenty of compost spilled there in the past.

I think it doesn't really matter where they are sited, as long as it gets some sun and is out of the wind. Berries like a lot of water, they have certainly liked our wet summer!

depends in japan where the bad weather comes from matey n if ur near the montains cos it gets cold up there :cry:  but most sun u can give em is best ,the soils great
