Velder's laying

Hi everyone, Just to say Velder layed her 1st egg this afternoon, she was in and out of the nest box most of this morning and when the egg came she did'nt make it in and her lovely brown egg was on the ground :D

I have a barnvelder who hasn't layed yet, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it may be soon  ::)

How old is your Barnevelder? my two are about 34 weeks old, Zelder my other barnevelder started laying 2 weeks ago.

hope she starts laying soon, I will keep my fingers crossed
