Wet Gravel?
« on: February 16, 2011, 13:29 »
I have built a run for two or three chickens which is about 8 feet by 12 feet and scattered about 4 inches of gravel.  Is it necessary to keep this gravel dry?

It's fine to use Gravel, but if you did not use ground cover and you get a lot of rain the gravel will start to sink and you will be back to square one and mud. (so we found out)  right now with the snow that we had and now the rain my lovely little beasties  i mean my girls  i have a marsh going on  so it's time to do some renovations and landscaping  .
