My new allotment is being ploughed one day this week by the neighbouring farmer,  my plot has about 150 strawb plants on it (1 year old).

What is best way to pull them up, store them for a week and a bit and them re-plant some?

They are fairly shallow rooted - do you know how long they have been in as three year old plants are considered past it in fruiting terms. Any runners set? You could take those and pot them or dib them into some compost/soil in a wheelbarrow.

i'd just leave some soil round the roots and pile them into wheelbarrow, bags or boxes. They are real tuff plants and most if not all will survive a week or so
