There are allotment goblins who I have been told come out and take things that annoy them...mind you Ihave not seen these but I have been told they are active in the UK...ARE THEY ON YOUR SITE????????????

After notifying the warden I'd recommend informing the police.

Goblins need to adhere to the law like the rest of us.  ;)

Talking about screaming kids in the supermarket, my really, really, funny favourite advert on the telly is the one where the mother throws a tantrum - shuts the kid up doesn't it? :D :D :D  I can't ever remember what the advert's about, because its so entertaining

Brilliant advert and like you I've no idea what it's advertising .... maybe not so good after all

Before I had my son, if I ever got clucky, my husband would take me to certain supermarkets lower down the evolutionary chain to watch the children.  That would certainly sort the cluckiness out!  That was before Loch Lomand, a caravan and a load of midges that would appear at 5pm.  There are only a certain amount of games of cards one can play.  ::) :D

Thank you all for the replies.
I had not thought of ear plugs and shall give them a go, untill i convince the council that it is a nusance.
The noisy neighbor has his own band of gobblins which does add to a tense atmosphere, but I do not retaliate so as to hold the high ground.

2 years into clearing our allotment. abandoned 20 years ago. half done but now digging out the trees. very slow process. Loving it all though.

Very sensible... and if you catch the neighbours goblins at work that'll soon get him shifted. Quite rightly!
