I I understand that you are supposed to just feed  medicated pellets and nothing else but I've just caught my annie picking at her poo!!!!! she must fed up with pellets can I medicate at the same dose mixed corn or meal worms or peas or anything.
I really don't want her eating her own poo that's just wrong

should I just be mean and let them do what they've gotta do?

I have wormed my 2 by putting the dose into a treat each per day over the 7 days (last time it was mixed into some pellet mash). There is a post somewhere from Aunt Sallie where she does the same thing.

Re the poo thing, I have noticed that when I am poo picking the run, they sometimes 'help' (help I could do without!) behind my back by scratching through what I have collected and I have noticed that if there is anything undigested (e.g. wild bird seed) then they will pick at that......
