I have a Magimix food processor and a Kenwood Chef but its the Kenwood that gets used most. I'm thinking of getting rid of the Magimix and buying a processor attachment for the Kenwood.

One with a powerful motor is important, so it can handle chopping well!
Ive got a dough blade on mine and it makes good bread and pastry.  Being easy to clean is good too!

Think about getting a quality "mouli legume" too. It will puree rather than chop/macerate and will also filter out all the stuff that you don't want too. For many things the texture is superior to an electric jobby. Much, much better than 'red plastic passata press' for tomatoes, so it you grow a lot of toms and wish to puree/catsup/passata them it's worth it's weight in gold. Spend over £30 for a really good stainless steel one. You won't regret it and it will last a lifetime.
