Having to start later than usual
« on: February 04, 2011, 12:51 »
Advise needed pls. I am away for 3 weeks in March and as yet have not started any of my seedling as I don't want them drying out whilst I am not here. ( I grow plants as well as veg from seed). Will I be ok to start them all when I get back?

I reckon you'll be fine - if you're there to look after them from March on, I reckon they'll soon catch up

I don't usually plant any seeds until April, and they always do well so i'm sure you'll be fine starting them off when you get back ;)

I am ooooop north too, bit more tropical but ney need to worry thee little cotton socks off. Most of mine are started end of March into April/ May, with the warmer weather and longer days they will catch up very quickly.

Just to add, in the past I have been behind with varying crops, but nature being nature knows what to do and how to catch up.
