Taste test one.  I pulled some around 4 weeks ago and decided never to grow carrots again as it wasn't that good for the effort involved but at the weekend they were gorgeous so I'll be grwoing next year again!!!

carrots need a good potash   base to taste good and grow well,to much nitrogen makes em all green bits and litle root
