CUCUMBER DELIKATEB from Lidl
« on: January 30, 2011, 18:34 »
I have just bought these cucumber seeds from Lidls. Does anyone know what type of cucumber this is or has anyone grown these before?

Have a look at this:

(Not my site BTW!)

Appears it's a pickling type to make gherkins.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Ok thanks for pointing me towards that web site DD :)  looks like as mum of stig says it's a dual purpose type. I will grow it as the seeds were so cheap. I am finding cucumber seeds very expensive this year >:(

They always are.

That's why I buy my £4.99 packet for 50p at Wyvale's end of season sale!

Or get them, and some other expensive seeds, with the £10 voucher some of the seed companies send out when you've used them before!
