Can you eat courgette/marrow seeds?
« on: January 29, 2011, 21:12 »
I have a large courgette ,residing on my work surface in the kitchen.I grew it last year,as many of us seem to,by accident. My guess is,it is now a marrow.

Can I eat the seeds if I open it up,like pumpkin seeds?

If so,can they be eaten raw or roasted?

This was my first year of growing courgettes ,so I really don`t have a clue!!

You are right, a large courgette is a marrow.

And yes, the seeds are edible but I'm not sure how you'd prepare them. I do hope you are not so desperate for food that you have to resort to eating your seed packets  ;)
