Hi, its been a while since ive been on, as ive moved house,  I now have a corner house with good sized garden to the front.. . at the back i will have containers and my greenhouse.I had to give up my plot as it was the other side of the city :-( 

my question is , i have a good space at the front of the house, which veg should i grow at the front and does anyone think it will get pinched..? i have thought of planting flowers alongside to disguise it a bit.. There is a hedge all the way round and the front garden faces south so also gets the most sun.

I usually grow the usual,
beetroot, onions, carrots, beans, cabbage, lettuce, etc..
 does anyone else grow veggies in the front gardens and what?

I had the same fear, particularly as my house is on a pedestrian route into town.

I grew peas and beans last year, had no problems.

The intention this year was originally to turf the area, put lavender and paeonies round the outside, etc etc.

Now I'm thinking asparagus and carrots / onions might be good
