good morning ,how are you this morning.me and kids are going to alloment this mrning providing rain holds off.whlst i check everything over im gonna set them all on pulling peas for me,also the last of the beetroot which has been so sucessful but i will plant more next year i think.
the site has just had a cartload of straw delivered from a nearby stable which has shut down,it has some manure mixed in with it.what do i do with it?

Ref the straw; why not plant mushroom spores in it? It's one of the recommended growing mediums on the instructions for the ones I got. Little white pill-shaped things bought in packets, usually displayed with the veg seeds at places like Homebase and B&Q.
Getting spare leek seedlings from a pal at work today, but won't be able to plant them until Thursday. Getting new electric meter tonight, then union meeting Wednesday night. Have to try and get up tomorrow morning b4 work to water toms etc.
