Have I missed these    Not seen any so far but aren't they usually around by now.

I have tried my local T****o & W******e so far with no luck

Saw some in Tesco today. £3 a net. They call them marmalade oranges. Didn't but any as I don't use marmalade.

As he used to say, "I wanna tell you a story",  I was a gardener in Gib for a couple of yearsand in the garden we had a few eating orange trees and a couple of seville orange trees.  The latter we used to collect for the nuns to make marmalade.  I used to take carrier bags full of edible oranges to the flats we lived in and leave them for the 'inmates'.

One day I filled our fruit bowl with oranges and left a seville on top.  Yep, the memsaab peeled it and sunk her teeth into it!  I shall say no more ! ! ! Cheers,   Tony.

They are in our little village shop but no supermarkets seem to have them . I paid £5 for 3Kg which I thought was good value.

I've just bought 2 bags in Tescos - now to examine the unstained pages in Val's jam  and chutney book. They will be getting sticky I expect.

Seville oranges freeze brilliantly - no need to do anything to them just stick 'em straight in!
