Just bought some Old Cotswold Legbar eggs in Morrison's; my, they ARE blue. Also got some Snowy Campbell duck eggs. 

Tomorrow's breakfast is going to be magnificent!

I used to get Cotswold Legbar eggs in Sainsburys years ago, as in pre-1998 and pre-refit of our, at that time, local supermarket.

I'm still looking for a local retailer of Burford Browns; a little birdie tells me they're a bit special.

I was going to say they sell Burford Brown eggs  in Asda, then it dawned on me you meant hens!! Doh!!!!!  :unsure: :unsure: :lol:

Our little Legbar DeeDee has just started laying in the last week or so and her eggs really are sky blue.  They're still small at the moment, but oh so pretty!

I've got two legbars, and must admit they're reason I got hens, just for blue eggs.  But I must say those two have been quite unreliable.  One had an impacted crop 15 months ago and hasn't laid since, and the other only laid soft shell eggs when she could be bothered last year.  Good news is that I've had two blue eggs in two days so maybe things are changing again! :D

I did. They only seem to be available from Legbars of Broadway and they ain't cheap!

There's a thread somewhere about it.  ;)
