one of my hens just gone POL, when i get home from work its dark, so the others are already in bed. but, this one seems to stay out in the dark eating away.... she eats well during the day.. what could be happening? is it anything to worry about?

nothings wrong she is just being a normal hen, some people find that their top hen is the last to go to bed whilst others find their best layers the last. They are all individuals and yours is obviously a bit of a night owl  .

None of mine go to bed before 8pm anyway!!  I would  love to be able to shut the pophole at dusk, but they are naughty!!!   And when I go out at ten to shut the pop hole I have to creep out as they rush out again to see me

(there are no redmite or nasties making them stay out..... just nosey and greedy)!!!
