First stop is John's sowing and harvesting calendar in the 'Growing Help' section, then maybe John's books, or any of the other excellent books out there... but the good news is it sounds like you've got a great space and a few weeks before you really need to do anything, Maybe a priority is to get a trailer load of manure from your nearest stables or farmer and put it on some (a third? what do others think?) of your beds....

Have a little search around using this link: Link! .

"Month by Month" may be particularly useful...It's on the same page.

There's lots there if you are prepared to look for it.  ;)

I would love to be in your position.  However, may I be allowed to recommend a magazine, "Kitchen Garden".  In my opinion it is the best value for those wishing to grow their own veg'.

Each month there is a 'reader's offer'.  and a very good questions and answers page.  Pick it up at the newsagents and see for yourselves.  :D   Cheers,   Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Cheers Tony... I'm a bit confused - do you mean my position or Martin's?
