how long would it take

i have managed to get hold of 2 25x 2m rolls of corrugated cardboard was going to cover part of the plot this winter has anybody got any idea how long this will take to rot down and decompose

It'll likely last most of the winter and be falling apart by spring. All depends on how much rain and/or snow you get which breaks it down faster.

What are you going to use to hold it down come the winter "wynds" ?  I suggest you throw large clods of earth over it at itnervals.  :tongue2:  Cheers,   Tony.
