garlic

I put a tea spoon of garlic granules in their water each day and as I tip the old water on the grass there is always a gang of hens waiting for the old soaked granules to peck up. So they are getting garlicky water and well soaked granules. I've never noticed any problems with garlic flavoured eggs.

I use garlic granules in their feed all the time, plus seaweed and at the mo' poultry tonic as they are mostly moulting, plus I add a crushed clove in the water, and no even with this lot the eggs don't smell of garlic.
