Strawberry advice
« on: November 21, 2010, 21:08 »
Hi, i have never grown strawberrys before and i have been given some strawberry plants(dont know what variety) some are established plants and some are small ones, that look like this years runners. they all have been taken out of the bed and potted before they were given to me. I want to know should i plant them now (i have a bed ready for them) or should i leave them in the pots in the greenhouse until spring? the book i have recomends planting srawbs in april so not sure what to do! i have some fleece i could cover them with! thanks matt

hi matt
long time no see?
better to put it in your green house and plant them in spring  :)
One kid is handful. Two kids.... Example for chaos theory. Hats off to my mum who managed three...
