Chicken Cake!

That's brilliant!  How did you make it? Especially the head & tail? 

Ty!  The body is a round cake cutinto 2 semi circles and glued together with jam.   The head is made of a ball of ready roll icing, covered in butter cream icing and the tail is made out of bits of ready roll again, I cut them into feather shapes and dried them in the airing cupboard for a while til they went quite stiff, then managed to get them to stand up just by poking them into the cake a bit.  It was quite gard to do, but my daughter is thrilled with it, so worth the effort!
