Dont go by combs  :nowink:when young I thought I had four boys and four girls by there combs. I was also told my cuckoo marans could be sexed by colour dark / light gray . That seemed to tie in with combs, then they started to make that awful cock-a doodle sound  . I will buy point of lay next time.

I have Silky x Sussex chooks (very broody) Jinty 

What on earthy do these look like, sounds an odd combination and two renound broody breeds it's a wonder they have time for anything other than sitting.

They are very pretty friendly little girls.  2 have started laying again and hope 3rd will start next weekish.  Have tried to load pics of them but this laptop is rubbish.
