If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

I am saving up some bottles to make ginger beer Jamie, as it cannot be found here ( only in the English shop!)  The recipe I have found takes longer but produces a "plant" which can keep being used, but takes a week to 'grow'.  Could you let me know how this quicker one tastes.

I do remember my friend making ginger beer at Uni - it exploded! So be careful !

I made some once, but it wasn't the alcoholic one!  It was very nice and gingery though!  Think I must try Hugh's one!
