Hi, I've discovered a perfectly round hole, the diameter just a bit smaller than a golf ball, dug in the soil between slabs and a brick wall. The soil has been pushed out and left in a pile around the edges. I'm concerned as this is not far from my girls pen, where they free range, could this be a rat? We've had toads under the slabs before, and had to rescue then from the hens. There is no evidence of rat droppings anywhere and nothing appears to he gnawed.
Could anyone recommend a product that will not harm the hens that I could use as a precaution? Mant thanks
