Falstaff are pretty mild.
And there's a red variety on Nicky's Nursery called Red Bull thats supposed to be mild...

Quite like the look of their Sprout/Kale cross at the top of the page... ooh! (someone stop me, i have enough seeds!!)

Do not feed them too much. Pick them while they are small.

I've grown Dorric F1 this last two years and they taste mild to me. They are reasonably compact too - I haven't needed to stake or support them in any way. Nice tight sprouts but not huge either.

I'm also growing Maximus this year, just to give a comparison.

Just wondering why you are asking now - it's too late to start sprouts surely?

Was given some trafalgar today and liked them.(fried in butter and pepper) Might try that kale cross next year too, just for the look.
john, got my head in seed catalogues for next year. Too often i talk about trying this and that etc, next thing it's time to sow and i end up picking from a limited range in the local stores. Trying to be organised this year

I'm growing the kale cross this year, it's called Petit Posy.  It is a very striking plant and can't wait to try some.

Will be interesting to hear what sprouts are most popular.
Cheese makes everything better.
