I have noticed that one of our pullets' eggs are always slightly sticky. The egg is usually sitting in a wet sticky clear substance, something similar to the albumen of an egg. I have also noticed that she sometimes squirts this substance out when she is out and about. She looks fit and healthy but she has layed some very large eggs, especially for a pullet. She has even layed a double yolk egg.
What exactly is this stuff and is it a problem?
Or am I looking for problems because of the size of the eggs?
