sprout and jerusalem artichoke joy!!

After my disaster last year (my first of owning an allotment then) with sprouts (almost all had blown etc) it was a delight this afternoon to pick a load of firm sprouts to accompany the roast. Honesty, it was like being a kid in a sweet shop!!!

And it was fab to dig up a load of jerusalem artichokes tubers too which I grew for the 1st time this year. So an excited me roasted some too  (windows are open wide as I type...!)

well done!
Only I wouldn't eat them together.....   

Definitely only ever at a weekend, never on a work day
