what can i start growing?

hello all, ive just made 3 well sized raised beds and was wondering what i could start doing at this time of year? im new to all this and could do with some friendly advice

I have just plantedonions, loads of people seem to say wait a bit longer before you put garlic in ...however judging by the weather forecast the ground could be frozen soon!
