Its been ages since i made frugal soup. Its a pain catching the bloomin' things as they are agile things.

frugals are often found in large strange looking nests called skips by the locals. Have a look around your local area, you may be lucky enough to find a cluster of these nests :D

Just made some leek and potato soup  :)

Now i have a parmasan rind in my fridge but im still not convinced that it would go in my leek and potato soup.

Has anbody tried it in this type of soup? thought i would ask before i dropped it in.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I don't know anything about anything but to me that sounds delicious.

No good putting it in after you've made it anyway  :nowink: Has to melt down a bit with the other ingredients in the cooking.

If you like the savoury flavour of risotto then you would like soup with parmesan in ...if that helps

Why don't you try... grate a little over a spoonful of soup to see what you think....not quite the same as cooking it in the soup, though :)

For the record and for next time MW, it goes really well in a leek and potato soup! :)

I certainly do think so and in fact was planning on making leek and leftover vegetable soup tonight.  You might have just convinced me that it's worth a stop at the supermarket.
