I overwintered 2 sweet pepper and 2 chilli, all pruned/potted in the same way, watered in the same way and next to each other in my utility room. The 2 chilli plants look good, but the 2 peppers look dead as a doornail.

I've heard sweet peppers aren't as easy to overwinter, 1 out of 2 survived for me but disposed of it last week anyway  :)

I successfully overwintered 2 chilli pepper plants on a south-facing in-house windowsill. When all but the last couple of leaves had fallen, & pruned away all the dead stuff. New leaves have grown & I've re-potted the plants in wider pots as they're quite deep already. They're on the floor now as too big for the sill  :)
Sweet peppers, zilch!
